A flash mob is an event where people get together and do the same thing for a while; in our case, we all went to sleep downtown for 15 minutes. At the beginning, we studied in our English Upper Intermediate book about what a flash mob was and we watched some famous flash mobs people had done around the world; the events sounded weird and some of them were funny. When our English teacher told us we were going to do a flash mob, and that it was about sleeping downtown in our pajamas, everybody was surprised and we thought that it was going to be embarrassing, but we also liked the idea.
When the flash mob was about to happen, nobody was sure about going downtown because we had a lot of homework or activities to do, but a few of us decided to go. When the flash mob started we were about 15 people, but then people who were around us joined us; we were all surprised and everyone enjoyed the spontaneous event. The experience was so funny, but embarrassing at the same time, as I thought it would be. I would recommend people to organize a fun and harmless flash mob on their own because it is something you will never forget.
